Sheeps Flat
on Mt. Rose Highway
Between Incline Village and Reno
Located between Lake Tahoe and Reno on the Mount Rose Highway (431) is a beautiful meadow known as "Sheep Flats." This area is a major recreation site for winter and summer activities. You can hike the meadows or watch the hang glider pilots land. Just recently a one mile nature path was completed and is one of the nicest short hikes in the area. The pictures speak for the rest.
