This is a very popular beach with both
the locals and Reno area residents.
The hike from the road to the beach
is approximately 15 minutes down and 25 minutes up. There are
portable restroom facilities and please remember garbage must
be packed out.
Parking for the area is located at
the head of the trail. However, it is limited and restricted parking
along the road is strictly enforced. There are plans to start
a shuttle service from the casinos at Crystal Bay.
During the summer, TART runs service
to the area.
Due to the clothing optional content,
in order to receive directions to the beach, an email
must be sent indicating that you are over 18.
